Need some help.

Got my set in Nov 08, had worked perfectly until two nights ago when it all of a sudden froze up with a series of vertical bars matching the colors on the screen prior to the freeze. The TV will show these for about 10 seconds, then cycle off and on, work again for another 3-5 seconds (with no audio) and then freeze up again. This happens across all inputs. I've updated to the latest firmware last night, which did not fix my problem. I've also tried disconnecting everything and replugging it all. Any other home remedy suggestions before I go through the inconveinence of getting Samsung to fix it (still under warranty, so its more the pain in the neck factor)?

It's not gonna be something you can fix without opening it up, which could void your warranty.
