Thought I would post this to see if anybody has seen this before:


When the buttkicker2 amp is connected via RCA cable from the subwoofer

out of my Onkyo receiver I hear a hum on all 6 speakers of my system. If I disconnect the cable, the hum goes away.


Any thoughts on why this would happen? I would assume the only way is if the bk amp is sending noice out the input and that is causing problems on the onkyo.


Any help is appreciated.

My guess is a 60hz hum introduced by electrical power being out of phase if you are using different circuits. Try plugging your BK amp into the same plug as your subwoofer (using a power strip).
