is is possible that your local Comcast and CBS are having some sort of dispute?

Or is is possible that the CBS HD broadcasts are from distance not normally available easily in your location via an OTA tuner and therfore Comcast is under not obligation to provide them unencrypted?

Check the HDTV local forum for your location you may find an explanation there.

What is your Zipcode? We may be able to help you out better if we know that.

Perhaps there's a PSIP problem or incompatibility with your TV and CBS is being mapped to the "real" QAM channel (I.E. channel 88-5 or 110-1, etc.).

Have you tried "surfing" after a scan to verify that your local CBS

cable channel isn't showing up elsewhere?
