Hi All,

I'm thinking of getting a mini setup as my HT solution for music and DVD's that I have ripped as ISO's. I'm pretty happy with the standard front row with DVD assist to get my videos playing. I'm using my macbook as a test machine to see if it's worth it for me to use a mac intstead of a PC.

BUT, on some of my commercial DVD's that I ripped, the video is showing up as interlaced when played. I have searched around, but cannot seem to find out if there is an alternative to the default dvd player that front row uses.

I know it's these specific DVD's that are having problems, because I can play them from the actual DVD and still they will look interlaced.

Does anyone know of an alternative for me?

The only thing I found was a suggestion to rip the movies again and then de-interlace them with QT, but that is a little too teadious to do since I already have a lot of dvd'd ripped to ISO's.

Thanks,

Robert
