I seem to have developed a problem with my Mitshubishi HD reciever, it now decides that it wants to re-boot multiple times while I try to watch TV.

It goes through the entire guide download, then I get the picture for awhile, then it does it again... I have always had an external fan for cooling, so heat shouldn't be a problem.

Has anyone heard of this ?

Try this.


Hard reboot for HD5:

Uncheck local OTA channels. Exit via 'Done' Set 'Local 1' to 'None'. Done

Clear zip code. Done

Update guide. (Automatic)

Exit menus via 'Done'.

Exit main menu via 'Video'.

Turn off receiver and TV.

Unplug receiver and detach satellite input. Replug and reattach after 2 minutes.

Turn on receiver and TV.

Set 'Local 1' to 'Antenna'.

Scan local channels.

Insert zip code.

Hope for desired results

I let it run all day yesterday, and every time I checked in on it, it was running fine, and I was able to watch last night with no problems.
