About 2 weeks ago my mits WD 52528 LCD RPTV developed a transparent green bar about 1/2" - 3/4" wide and 10" long in the lower right hand corner of the screen. I have had the set for over a year now and nothing has changed other than the green band which is noticeable in very bright scenes and not noticeable at all during dark scenes. I have also noticed some dark (blotches) on the screen during very bright scenes that appear in several different places and are also unnoticeable during dark scenes. Has anyone heard of this or encountered the same problem? My tv is no longer under warranty and I would like to know what it is going to cost to fix it.

Doesn't anyone have any information at all on this set or another rear projection lcd?
