I am in the process of hooking up an Integra DTR-4.5 and have discovered I've got no way to get an analog signal to some external amps for remote speakers - bathroom, sunroom, deck. I planned on using the Zone 2 analog output, but all of my sources are digital and the unit doesn't convert digital to analog, so nothing is there. (My previous Outlaw 1050 had full preamp outs for connecting external amplification and I used front L&R to power my amps.)

Are there any inexpensive D/A converters that I can hook to the digital output? I guess I may need to buy another receiver if I cannot make this one work.

Nevermind . . .

I ran a stereo cable from the analog output of the cable box to an analog input on the receiver. With Zone 2 being independently switchable input-wise from the main system, I have selected the analog input for Zone 2. All's well.
