PROBLEM with Sharp LC-42SD1E

My tv has turned green!!! Its mostly in dark areas of the picture. I have spoke to sharp and they say its a 20 sec job to fix. Only prob is the nearest engineer lives far away so ive to wait. Sharp said you need to do it in the service menu, anyone know how to get into this menu and also does anyone know how to fix.
