I just replaced my JVC VCR with a JVC DVD Recorder/VHS combo unit, the JVC DR MV1. With my old JVC VCR, I had no problem programming the LG DirecTV STB to "blast" the VCR to start recording a program selected in the LG's guide.
With the new JVC recorder, however, none of the codes provided for JVC work. Does anyone know a work-around so that I can set the LG STB to prompt the new JVC to record? Right now, it blasts neither the VHS side of the deck nor the DVD recorder side.
