Problems with D-Link DSM-320

682 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  drfatal
I recently got a DSM-320 and go it setup quite easily. The problem I've been having is that when I fast-forward then click on play, the movie always re-starts at the beginning. Pause/Play seems to work fine. I can't help but think I'm either setup wrong or there is a correction somewhere that would fix this. I also tried a different server (TwonkyMedia) without any improvement. Currently I connect wirelessly to the server (54 MB) - Server Details:

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519)

Is this an MPEG-2 file and if so how large is the file?
Just check the recent firmware upgrade, they fixed this issue in DSM520, hopefully the same fix is also available for DSM320.
I'm having the same issue using the latest firmware.. Not only that, TS files or MPG time cuts in half. A 1:30 minutes movies shows as 52 minutes. Player stopped playing at that point.
