Hey guys. I've been a long time "lurker" of this forum and I have gotten much help with researching my problems from all of you. I figured that I would get my first post and thread under my belt so here goes. Yesterday I turned my beautiful 34" Panasonic tube tv on and I saw a multitude of colors go across the screen, followed by a popping sound and my tv immediately shut off. I unplugged it from the wall for about 30 minutes and tried it again. No popping this time, but it came on for about 2 seconds with the same "acid trip" effect and promptly shut off again. I luckily purchased the 3-year warranty from CC (yes my old job) and the next appointment they had open was for Tuesday. So while I wait around with no HD in my house, does anyone have a clue as to what happend and if this is something that many Panasonic tube tv's do?
