Hey all,
I've been using bbmpeg to convert some AVIs to MPEGS and then mpeg2ts to convert them into what I believe are ATSC transport streams. I am then using 'dstream' to play the resulting *.ts files on my attached (via firewire) D-VHS player (i.e. a JVC HM-DH30000U D-VHS player.) Unfortunately, the results seem to be a bit finicky. Often the *.ts files I create will sort of skip/stutter during playback at random locations. Since I would like to use this as a demo machine this isn't acceptable.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could be doing wrong? Someone suggested that the bitrate may be slightly high or something similar.
Thanks for any help,
