Problems with RCA RCU900

Is anyone else having problems with this remote controlling a Direct TV SIR-TS360 HDTV box. My tuner does not seem to recoginze that I am pushing any buttons half the time. When moving through the guide, using the channel up or down buttons, I can scroll maybe 2-3 times before the box stops recieving a signal from the remote. If I move the remote and really aim it at the box, it will start to work again, but then starts over again. Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas or suggestions? The remote only shows one code for a Samsung tuner and I am using that code. Thanks in advance.
