Problems with Vudu and Netflix not bitstreaming on PS3

Ever since the last update, my PS3 has not been bitstreaming the Dolby Digital on supported titles and has been outputting the audio as 7.1 PCM. Even stereo titles are being output as 7.1 PCM.

I see this on Vudu as well. I tried calling Playstation Support but they weren't very helpful.
