I'm running a Definitive Technology ProCinema 600 system (with ProMonitor 800s for Front Right and Front Left). Unfortunately, I am still using the stock ProCenter 600 and am really underwhelmed with the performance (esp movie dialogue). My receiver is a Denon AVR 1909 and I'm fairly sure I have everything setup properly (following Batpig's guide).

My question is, do you think there would be a big difference moving to the ProCenter 1000? I want to keep everything in the same ballpark performance wise but I'd love to improve the center channel.

Well, needless to say any concerns I had before the purchase are a thing of the past. Talk about an UPGRADE!

Without any new calibration on the receiver, I just swapped out the center channel. After watching a few minutes of Casino Royale on Blu-ray, I'm amazed at the difference a $200 speaker can make on an already great (budget) setup.

Now if I can just find a cheap SVS to help out the sub...
