Hi

I'm wondering should I have Progressive scan on all the time on my Panasonic PV-D4743S DVD player, or just when I'm using Component video 1 to watch a DVD on? Friend of mine says it should be on all the time, even when watching DVD-R(one's recording from my dvd recorder) Movies, and not commerical discs? is that true or not true.

Thanks

Progressive video output can only be applied over component and dvi/hdmi. Some progressive scan players are good enough to process any content on a dvd and can improve on the picture whether it is flagged as progressive or not.

Hi

Oh ic, well next time I try a DVD-R, I guess I'll turn Progressive on, (has a green light to know when it's on, and see what happens with it) I usually try to watch only in Component mode, but when I'm recording on vhs, I watch in Antenna B.

Thanks for the reply
