Programming on WTTW

I looked HDTVGalaxy site and saw that The Desert Speaks is to be broadcast today at 5:30pm ET PBS. Knowing that WTTW does not follow the same schedule as the national PBS I searched for this program in their schedule...nothing. What gives? I've also seen posts from others on this forum saying they have problems with WTTW reception I don't have any except I liked the first weeks non-stretched with gray bars better for 4x3 content. The undistorted picture had my wallet out and ready to make a donation, but missing available HDTV programming and distorted picture put it away again.
