Does the RCA MS36100 accept progressive Scan thru its component input? I got a Pioneer DVD player with progressive scan but in that mode the TV goes to black with the "unusable signal" message. Is there any way to get the DVD progressive scan into my RCA? Is there any DVD player that will work in progressive scan mode on the RCA? HELP!

The MM36110 accepts progressive component input. The MM36100 does not. However, both accept (progressive) 480p and 600p VGA/SVGA RGB. Go to the Home Theater PC forum and see about how to hook up a home theater PC. I suggest trying 800x600 at 60 Hz (or 59.94 Hz) and 720x480p @ 72 Hz. You could also try 960i or 1080i, and you should definitely "squeeze" the 1080i mode via the service menu. If you don't want to bother with with a HTPC, then get a DVDO iScan Pro, which outputs 480p in either component or RGB, but you'll need an interlaced DVD player with it (or you could put your progressive player into interlaced mode.)
