For Progressive Scanning, correct me if I'm wrong, but you need a progressive scanning compataible TV AND component video cables? Let me know please, thanks.

The TV part is right, but any three RCA cables will work. You will get a better PQ with decent "component" cables.

With a progressive scan capable DVD player set on progressive, not interlaced.
