I have been reading the forums furiously and have gotten alot of questions answered the past few weeks, and have put together the project plan below for my upcoming build. My intent is to sequence the activities as smartly as I can so I'm not having to take steps backward because I did it in the wrong order. I've attached some pics of my space below.

If anyone sees any opportunity to do things in a different order that will make this build go easier, please let me know!

Looks like a false front wall with a door behind it. Give yourself more room so that you can use the door to work on things behind the false wall.

Thanks - how about a full 24"? Also, I am planning on the "Minimalist Approach" to the screen wall, which should leave plenty of access space.

I would suggest moving the wall fabric step much later, to avoid any opportunity for rips - after carpet is installed.

Thanks! Do you think I can go ahead and do the insulation at the point I have it in the plan and just move the fabric install to right after the carpet?

Is there any reason why you couldn't rotate the room, which it then looks like you could have a wider room.

I actually posed a different design in this thread, most of the feedback was to go lengthwise...

Your drawing is a great idea, I wish that space was usable. There is a water softener, sump, and HVAC all in the way. The other side of the basement has built in shelving and huge pipes that run at various levels up & down, so aren't really usable either.
