Was wondering is there a way or anything out there to project 360 degrees? Like the GoPano ( http://www.gopano.com/products/gopano-plus#page=technology ) and its lens work but in reverse, so instead of capturing an image the image is projected. I realize this would have to incorporate the ability to distorted the image so when it is projected from the curved mirror the image is clear.

I haven't seen anything of this nature. Since products which capture in panoramic are rare, and tend to be low-quality, the idea of doing such a thing is just not realistically wanted for front projection... at least at a cheap price. Virtual reality setups often use dozens of good projectors blended together at the cost of upwards of $50,000 then need special programming and video shoots to capture the environment. Some are done as 'video games', but once again, specialty designs with multiple monitor (projector) usage to create a seamless environment.

A big hurdle of what you are asking about is that the focus range on projectors is limited, and the brightness is limited. So, a 50" tall image that goes all around a (round?) room would potentially need to be thousands, or tens of thousands of lumens brighter to deliver an acceptable image.

Once again, it pushes prices spaceward.
