Hi all.


I currently have a 1280x720 native DLP front projector, Projectiondesign Action Model Two (7 segment color wheel and 5x speed), it supports 1080p24, 1080p30, 1080p50 and 1080p60 HDMI input signals.


I wonder what will happen with the refresh rate and colour wheel speed if I hook up a 1080p24 capable source (HD-DVD or Blu-Ray)...

Do I will dive into an endless rainbow sea or the colour wheel will not change?

Well, to be honest, I don't know even what is the usual refresh rate when hooked up an SD-DVD source.

Any idea? I can't find anything interesting about...

The refresh rate will be 48Hz, and the color wheel will syncronize at 5x48Hz.

That's a true just for the Projectiondesign Model Two or simple maths from the color wheel speed that apply to any dlp projector with the same features?
