Projector for Under 1k for outside (rooftop) use?

I'm looking for a few good idea on a digital projector for under $1000 USD. The primary purpose for this projector is outside (on my rooftop) for night movies. I've seen some posts already about similar price range projectors for inside use. Would these still be the same ones used for outside?

What things are most important when buying this type of projector?

I will be projecting onto a grey brick wall or perhaps use a sheet of some kind. Nothing super high tech is needed.

There is no such thing as an "outside" projector, so any unit that fits your needs and budget will work. The only caveat is you cannot let it stay out there when not being used. Projectors are not built to live in an uncontrolled environment, so take it out and use it, bring it back in when done.
