I just noticed this thread about HDTV upscaling lag. I have recently ordered a Optoma HD70 projector:


Native resolution: 1280 x 720

Compatible video: 480i/p, 576i/p, 720p. 1080i, PAL, PAL-M, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC 4.43


If the resolution is lower than 480p (for example, nintendo 64: 320x240), then will the projector upscale it? If yes then will it cause any lag in doing so? If no then will the projected image still fill up the projector screen?

no, you are fine. you wont notice any lag.


and if you're really worried, just run your 64 into your receiver and use the receiver to run to the PJ.
