Ok guys, has anyone ever encountered this : I have a JVC HD 750 projector and a pink line has formed on the right side of the screen . It used to go away after a few minutes of use, but now it's there to stay apparantly, and to make matter worse it seems to get wider every time i start it up after a resting period... Would this be solved by changing the lamp ? 1100 hours on it... any help or advice is welcome, and if anyone knows of a good service center for JVC europe, who to call ??

it looks like the dreaded JVC 'pink band'. you can read about other users experience here:

JVC will say it's the optical block, an expensive part that far exceeds the value the projector if it has to get fixed out of warranty. You might want to post in that thread to see how others dealing with the issue made out with JVC.


changing the lamp unfortunately won't help.
