I have basically decide to replace my current TV with a new projector. From what I've seen and read, it sounds like the Panasonics are the best value for a small budget. I have narrowed it down to the AE100, the LC55U and the LC75U. I'm trying to decide which one to buy and if the extra money is worth it. My biggest question is on the resolution. I watch a lot of widescreen material and am wondering what the difference between the WVGA and SVGA is. I noticed that on a lot of projectors, under the menu there is an option for 16:9, how is that different then WVGA. Next, is the XGA worth the extra money or would the money be better spent on an Line Doubler or something. $2300 is a little high but I think I can just barely swing. The only other thing is the Lumens. This projector will be going in a family/rec-room so it is not completely black. Will the Lumens be noticed/help or will I be disappointed and better off with and RPTV. Thanks for all your help.
