I'm looking for recommendations for a sub-$1000 projector, 720p (though I'm monitoring the vivitar 1080p - $999 thread) for my living room, turned psuedo HT. I'm looking at getting the monoprice 108" (16:9) screen. It will be ceiling mounted to descend just in front of the LCD. The distance to the rear wall will be about 13' (11-12') to the viewing position. Ceilings are normal 8' ceilings. What would be the best recommendation, based on sound, quality, etc. and ability to handle being installed 13' or less. You can see pics of my current setup in the gallery under the flat screen/plasma theater section.

Projectors do not have sound. You will need a receiver and speakers for that.

LOL, I know they don't have sound, I was referring more to the sound they emit, noise, fans, etc.
