I have my HTPC machine connected to a projector (Sanyo Z2) using ATI 9600 pro thru DVI connection. I could only output 1024 x 768 in the setting (made the projector the primary display).


Is there a way to set the resolution for the projector to 1280 x 1024? Or do I need powerstrip to do this?

You'd want 1280x720 for the Z2 wouldn't you? But yeah, use powerstrip.
