I've had my panasonic 300e for a couple of weeks now.. 1 week of which with it mounted on the wall... I've only got a temporary screen, mounted temporarily atop a curtain rail... all not optimum... two things i have noticed looking at the desktop in the overscanning HDTV50 resolutions tho are
i) the screen is blurred slightly on the right hand half of the screen.. maybe the right hand quarter...
ii) the screen is blurred slightly on the bottom quarter of the screen...
By turning the projector back into deskmode i find these areas of the screen are shop .. so its not related to the computer output... I am assuming that both these problems are caused by the same thing... basically I assume the projector is NOT pointing perfectly squarely to the screen...
i) is caused by the projector being pointed slightly left or slightly right.. meaning one side of the image is slightly closer than the other relative to the lens...
ii) is caused by the same problem in the up/down orientation...
I have verified that i can sharpen the lower blurredness by altering the focus.. in doing so i blur the top part... i've not confirmed this with the left/right problem yet...
Text seems to really show it up the best.. is there something i can use to diagnose this problem... or will a screenshot of text filling the screen be just as good to see if there is a problem... I guess sharp details in a consistent form is all you need to see if the whole screen is focused correctly...
I dont think you can see this during a movie its very subtle...
