I'm using a ECP 3000 (yep it's old) CRT w/video thru an HTPC on this Parkland Screen at about 100" or just under 7' wide.

- I can say that after seeing the Runco 974 and its companion processor yesterday, my setup makes the Runco look like crap! (Granted,... maybe the techs setting up the Runco didn't know what they were doing. But there was absolutely no contest).

So John, Yep, CRT looks really good too. I've seen several of the Sharp Z9000 DLP with a Stewart screen and my PJ still beats that too. (DVD only) I can't begin to imagine how good a newer CRT PJ can look when properly calibrated even with the Parkland screen. I would post some screenshots, but I can never get them to come out right.

-Good luck.

That sounds like really cool technology ! Imagine just being able to paint your tv anyplace and any size you want. Wild stuff, too bad I'll probably be fossilizing by the time it comes to market.

Juno,

You missed the point of the post. The screen paint i'm referring to creates an LCD array. Click on the link...it's very interesting.
