can this remote be programed on a mac and does it work with a wireless internet networks that only uses macs

I'd also like an answer if anybody has any idea about this remote being able to deal with the Mac OSX. Want to primarily use it for browsing through my iTunes library with cover art and also my dvd collection. Any ideas?
