My HT room will be ready in a few weeks so I will have to start wiring soon. Room size is 21ft long by 14ft wide.

My question is apart from the 5 channels should I do wiring for 1 center back or 2 center back speakers.(I plan on buying the Denon 5800 upon release in the UK)

And heres one for you guys, while on the wiring stage should I run some extra wires/chanells eg to side fronts (9.1) as I wouldent be suprised if this is the next stage/step in HT.

Although I've read in a few places that some actually prefer the sound of one rear center, I plan to run two pair of wires from my AV rack to the back of the room, hiding one pair in the wall if I decide that one rear center sounds better than two. You never know when you might need the second pair or what use it might have for you.

Go ahead and wire for the extra speakers, it beats trying to get in there later after the room is finished. You might even run a length of CAT5 to each location as well....you never know....(CAT5 is communications/signal wire, consisting of multiple pairs of twisted wire). If you REALLY want to future-protect yourself, run a length of conduit to each location, with a pull-string left inside the pipe. Use sweeps instead of 90-degree turns where possible. A lot of work, though.

Wire for two. You wil find for music mixes you will often be running 5 channels and you want stereo rears then. I've yet to meet a multi-channel music mixer who places the surround to the sides...

It never hurts to run extra wires, but I think you will be in for a looong wiat for that one...
