ive got a older prosub 80. with what definitive tells me is a bad amp.

They want $65+ shipping for the replacement part they say it needs?

Is this worth fixing? or should i just move on?

If you liked how the sub performed before the amp died, $65 + shipping to get it back up and running seems like a good deal. If you didn't, it's not.

A ProSub 80 doesn't have significant response below 40 Hz. If you'd like to hear content below that frequency, then upgrade.
