Hi everyone. long-time lurker, first post.
I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for all their help in my decision to purchase my first plasma. You guys are awesome! It was delivered today from Visual Apex (great service so far). I haven't even had a chance to open up the box yet (I can't wait to leave work and get home!). So here are my components:
Panny 50PHD6UY
Denon AVR 3300 receiver
Toshiba Interlaced DVD player (to be replaced REAL soon)
DirecTV with Samsung HD STB
Antenna for HD OTA to be installed later this week
Two sets of component video cables and RCA-to-BNC connectors on their way (both DVD and STB to be connected straight to 6UY to avoid AVR3300 component video switching bottleneck)
TOSLink optical audio cables for DVD and STB
Sanus Wall mount also on its way (to be mounted on brick wall)
The only question I have at this point is what hardware I need to mount onto a brick wall.
I will post my reaction when I get things set up. In the meantime, thanks again, and feel free to comment!
