PS2 and Z1

I just finished mounting my Z1 this week. After checking to see if the dvd player and cable box were working right, I powered up the ps2. Unfortunately, there is a terrible picture. I am using component monster cables, runing the ps2 and cable box through a component switcher, and my reciever is a H/k 525. The picture that is displayed by the ps2 is black and white, fuzzy, and has lines that run through it. I have tried connecting directly to the reciever and still the same result. I also tried using the original cables with the ps2 and still the same. Then I tried taking the ps2 upstairs and hooking it up to a sony reciever via composite. This was fine, great picture for composite connection.

Are there any solutions?

Sounds like you have your cables out of order. I think you will get a weird but readable screen if you get green hooked up right anf the other 2 flipped. If you dont have at least green right then its going to look garbaled. Also make sure the z1 is set to auto. If you set it to 480p or something it will look squished.
Thanks for the help. I realized that I did not have the component cables for the ps2, they were just beefed up rca's. So I went out and bought the component cables, and WOW!! Gran-Turismo 3 is amazing.
