I can tell you without even using it that it's worthless. If you're outputting composite or S-Video you're not getting the highest quality possible so the quality of the scaler becomes a moot point. You'll get a better image using component cables straight to your TV over any scaler that only accepts composite or S-Video input.


As for the best scaler for PS2 games without breaking the bank: a BC PS3. You're not going to find a scaler with component inputs that produces an image significantly better than your TVs onboard scaler for less than $800 (and I'm being generous with that estimate). At that point it's an utter waste of money just to improve the PQ of PS2 games that at the end of the day don't look that great to begin with.
