I just saw an ad For a new PS2 at Meier's for $147 Saturday January 31 only.

Around Labor day the price is supposed to drop lower than that, around $129, for the XBOX as well as the PS2.

I think the next price cut we see will be down to $149 for PS2 and XBOX. I look for it to hit around May(right before E3)

One of the typical mod chips. I would use it to stream multimedia files, back up games to a larger hard drive, and whatever else I need it for. I don't want to accidentally get caught on Live with a modded box, and get banned. For $129 the multimedia ability alone would be worth it. That is cheaper than any other solution I have found.
