PS3 Cooler does it work?

1351 Views 4 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  UMD_Terp
Does the cooler sold for ps3 actually work well, is there any internal temp reading we can access to confirm this?

(still pretty new to ps3 haven't been thru ALL menus yet)...

Also is it loud?

Just wondering if it is worth buying one or not, I know my friends xbox 360 got BLAZING hot after a few hrs use but my ps3 didn't feel that hot after a good nights use tonight here.

Thanks for any input good or bad on that...

Don't waste your money. As long as your PS3 is in a well ventilated area with all the vents unblocked you won't have to worry about it overheating.
Thanks on the reply, I kinda thought wow this isnt even that hot after using it a few hrs tonight, but I was trying to think longterm knowing what happened to my buddys 360 overheating so bad...

So far I am really liking this ps3 thou, especially now that I have the TVeristy all setup, man its nice to watch stuff off the computer on the ps3
I leave my PS3 on daily. Don't waste your money.
as already stated, the PS3 has sufficient cooling on its own.
