So in my living room we use our PS3 as our main disc player. CD, Blu-ray, DVD etc. For some reason when my wife went to use it today to play a DVD for our son, the disc loaded and started but the picture is messed up. It is pixellated but not just pixellated there are literally 24 pixels over the entire 46" screen. Blu-rays are fine and the audio on dvd is still fine. I believe I am up to date with firmware but I am going to go check it for an update. does this sound like a hardware issue? I check the cables at the PS3 and the television, all seems fine, and it worked properly yesterday. Please help, these are way to expensive to replace.
