Can you still get the firmware updates if you dont have internet, like disk sent to me from Sony?

I don't have Internet at home and I updated using a disk that I made. Follow the intructions there http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/About/SystemUpdate . Easy. It is at the bottom of that page
