Hi,


PS3-60 ver 1.32 here.


Could somebody assist me on how I can access the master

account section ,so I can edit or delete it?


The problem is that the only account that can be set is a

sub account that requires an email address and password

that I have not initialy set.


Do I have to reset the PS3 to its original status(ver 1.10)?


Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure I completely understand your problem but you can remove the user that's associated with the PSN account you want to remove. Then just create a new user and a new MASTER PSN account.

I already tried this but without any results

Its like if my system sees a master account

but I cannot access it.


Basicaly,I never created one and when I try to create one

it ask for a password and email address that I never created

to begin with.


Again:What are the steps to go to the master account so

I can either edit or delete what's there?

if all else fails, I would suggest formatting the HD (there's an option for it.)

Are you talking about Playstation Network Accounts or the System User Accounts?


If it's asking you for an email address, I believe you are attempting to change your Playstation Network Account. If you are trying to change your "master account", you need to scroll all the way to the left and select the user you are attempting to edit/delete.

Thanks ppshooky but the only things I can edit is the user avatar

and its name.I can't find the place where I can edit or delete the email

address and password on the PS3.That information is asked every time I want

to go online (market place etc...).


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
