it seems that certain .avi movies don't play. i'm wondering what codecs i should use so i don't have this problem; transcoding is very hit and miss.

Only MPEG4 ASP aka DivX/Xvid for avi. Don't think GMC/Qpel is supported. MP3 and AC3 work for audio.

some vids labeled as xvid are not supported. and when i go to transcode, it says the data is corrupted. i hope they update it to include more support.
