I own both. If it wasn't for the movies, my PS3 wouldn't be used as often. Oh, there are some good games coming...eventually. As far as bundled movies with the PS3, I haven't seen any of these bundles. But who knows what will occur with the upcoming holiday shopping season. But the PS3 is a fine machine and I'm glad I got mine. If you can swing it, go for it.
PS3 + Movies

I am new to this ballgame and right off the bat I would like to say that I am not out to infuriate any Xbox 360 people. I am thinking of getting a PS3 (maybe). I have not sat and watched either game console to say this is better than that etc.... Just right now... thinking PS3 is the way I am leaning.
I wanted to know if anyone has seen in the past or knows of maybe later down the road... will any of the B&M's out there offer these free movies deals we are seeing right now with the purchase of a PS3. I know they bundle certain games now with them, but I think I would be more inclined to buy if there was some movies included with the bundles.

The PS3 at launch was bundled with the blu-ray disc of Talladega Nights, but there are no free movies with the new SKU's.
The week of May 20-26 Best Buy will give you either Casino Royale or Rocky Balboa (Blu-Ray versions) with the purchase of a 60GB PS3.
Or you could get the deal at ebgames for a free Sixaxis controller with system purchase.
Target has given out free Blu-rays with the PS3, but that Best Buy deal sounds like the way to go. I own both of those movies and picture quality is top notch.
D'oh.. I just bought a 60GB PS3 with Casino Royale at Best Buy on Saturday. Do you think if I brought the receipt they would refund Casino Royale?

Absoulutly they should..If not return everything and re-buy it.

not if he opened casino royale already. tho he could return the ps3, re-buy the ps3 with free royale, then return the unopened royale using the first receipt.
