I have a digital camera that will record a few minutes of video, but it outputs the video to .mov .When I try to watch on the footage on my ps3, it says the data is corruped. I used super C to convert them to .AVI files so now the thumbnails come up on the ps3, but the message " file type not supported" is displayed. What setting should be used in super C for ps3 playback. They are short videos btw, no more than 2-5 min.

Thanks, Fatboy...

When you are using Super (c) to convert the files to AVI, be sure the codec you choose is suppoted by the PS3 (i.e. h.264). AVI is just a type of container... the video/audio files that go inside that container must be able to be read by the PS3. Give h.264 a shot inside an AVI container, and see if that works for you.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll try that when I get home.

No problem... you may also want to use one of the PS3 presets... at least I am assuming it has one or more. That way it will be sure to render out to a legal resolution, bit rate, codec, etc. for use on the PS3.
