I am looking for suggestions on bookshelf speakers.I have listened to B4 image

and Paradigm mini monitors out of which I liked the B4. My room is 28ft x 14 ft and 9ft high ceiling. ( family room and kitchen combined) sitting distance would be at 14ft. At present I want to purchase L/R/Center speakers only.

Can you please suggest if the B4 would be enough for this size of room or I need to go higher to B5. Also some of the other speakers I was considering was NHT

classic 2 or Def Tech pro cinema 600 though I have not heard either of them.

Again I would very much appreciate your help.

Thank you

That isn't a very small room, obviously... if I were you, I'd probably also take floorstanding models into consideration. But as for B4 vs B5, I don't think there'd be a big difference in how big a room they can fill. They can both fill the 14ft x 14ft area (if I understood the area setup correctly) in front of the listening position, but I'm not sure how much the extra space behind would affect things.

Go bigger if you can, I like the B6, better bass for easier sub integration - you are getting a sub, right?

I like all the speakers you are considering, I'd add Revel Concerta & era D4 to your audition list.
