PSB SubSeries 6i vs LFM-1 EX, VTF 3.3, Caliber

I ordered PSB Image t45, c40, and (4) B15 today and I guess I may as well get a new sub to match the performance. I can get a deal on a PBS Sub 6i (OB) from a local dealer for $525 otd. I watch a great deal of action movies on BR and HD so I'm looking for a "feel it in your pants" sub for lots of WOW. Other ones that appeal to me in my price range is:

Outlaw LFM-1 EX

HSU VTF 3 MKIII

Epik Caliber

7 channels powered by Onkyo 805... I contemplated an E design sub order, since I have an Onkyo 8" powered sub from a current 6.1 kit, but i just read through the "wait list" thread and it seems like a nightmare right now. Any SVS suggestions are welcome also.

P.S. No "headed to bankruptcy" cracks, please

ahhh... definitely comparable in price. Another unit to make my decision harder. From craigsubs review of that eD A5-350... I just cant make up my mind...

I'm using a "lifeline" and asking the audience for their pick. Please feel free to chime in.

Of the subwoofers listed, I think the Epik Caliber will give the most "feel it in your pants" experience (sounds a bit odd when you put it that way, though...
). Second I'd put either the PB12-NSD or Hsu VTF-3 MK3. The PB12 is probably a better value in terms of HT performance, though, since it's $100 cheaper. Out of curiosity, how large is your room? If it's over 3000 cubic feet, I'd definitely say go with the Caliber. It should have the highest output and deepest extension of all of the subs mentioned. I'm also wondering why you aren't considering the Knight. It's $100 cheaper than the Caliber and should equal it until you get way down deep. Just a thought...trying to make this as confusing as possible
. Seriously though, in terms of sheer bang for your buck, I don't think you can beat the Epik subs. I personally own SVS and can strongly recommend SVS as well, but if you want the absolute most performance for your dollar, the Knight (or Caliber) is probably your best bet. Good luck!

Room is definitely smaller than 3k cubic feet... but I will be moving in 6 months to new location which is unknown at the moment...so I'm trying to futureproof my HT as much as possible. The reason I didn't mention the Knight is because, for as you mentioned, the Caliber is only $100 more. I'm on a budget... but I'm $100 bucks-flexible if the extra performance is there. Thanks for your suggestion.
In my humble opinion, Caliber should smash both the pb12 and vtf-3 in terms of SPL, and roughly match them in sound quality. But I have not heard any of them myself. Caliber is a lot bigger though.
Just to sidetrack a little bit, why t45 over t55?

I think so also because the Valor is the sealed version Craig rates the Vtf-3 1 point higher . So not hearing it just use that as a gauge. The Caliber is like 2 1/2 Valors?? I forget. Takes 2 valors to best a Knight which is 1 1/2x better. 2 knights best a Caliber which is 1 1/2 times ect. ect. So your budget with your choices I would get the Caliber.

You can find real test numbers for 6i and SVS PB12 and LFM-1EX on soundandvisionmag.com. There are all done by Tom Nousaine in his big home and the numbers are comparable. For $525, 6i performs and compares very favorably against SVS PB12.
There is a newer version of SVS PB12. check hometheatre shack for ikkas tests on newer version vs old one.
