PSN not downloading and sometimes can't sign in
I cannot download PSN. In fact, sometimes I can't sign on and times out when trying to download...other times when I am signed in and start downloading it stops after like 44%. Not sure what is happening. Can't play warhawk that I just purchased. Anyone have these problems? I have the 80 gig model that was purchased last year. Thanks

How are your other internet connections.. like on your PC? Not trying to download something else at the same time are you? Like Bit Torrent?
To cut to the chase... Most people advocate setting up a static IP address on your router for your PS3 and using a wired connection.

Go to the PS3 Faq at the beginning...I had the same problem and set it up that way...work flawless now

Wired connection to a router with 4 other computers sharing the router and xbox360------one computer, xbox360 and ps3 are wired into the router...other 3 computers are wireless. It is connected via cable modem.
Not sure what you mean static IP...?

I had static IP setup and it worked few times until I started getting DNS massages, same thing - cuts downloads, random disconnects, not when playing online though... most annoying of it all is when PS3 is booting up the whole network goes down, I can't access internet from my PC for about a minute or so.
Where is the ps3 faq
I believe a static IP is just basically giving your PS3 a number that isnt or cant be assigned to any other items on your network..like say your router goes to .50 then assign the ps3 .100 or something like that.
wellI got it fixed, at least the ps home. Changed nat type to 2 rather then 3 and it finally downloaded but warhawk still not working. Thought that would of fixed the warhawk problem. I just don't get it....
