PT-50LC13 HTPC and PC Card ??

256 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Foxbat121
Well so far so good with my PT-50, I've hooked up my HTPC via VGA cables and set the res to 1024 by 768 because if I set it any higher the desktop seems to push to the left. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Has any one noticed a big Pic quality difference when going from a VGA to a DVI connection? Also whats the highest res. I can set my PC to.

I'll also be receiving a new dig. camera that uses a compact flash card. I know I can load them into the HTPC and view them that way but I was curious about using the PC card slot. Ok stupid question, did the PT-50 come with a PC card? Where do I get on if not......

PS the TV looks great when used with a ATI 9800pro video card!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

The manual has a list of resolution and refresh rates the Panny supports on VGA ports and DVI. The highest is 1280x720 or 1064x768 at 60Hz. It does not come with a PC card because differen media use different PC cards. The PC card for CF cards is the cheapest becasue CF and PC card slot pins are compatible.
