See topic, which is the best Pj, i will probably use a quite large screen.

The price is about the same for both the pj:s in sweden.

Haven't seen the VT540 but i did buy the LC75E and i am very satisfied with it.(even if i project on my closet door until the screen arrives).


VT540 is however an older as a model and from what i have heared

it is definetly not as quiet as tha Panasonic.

Lamp life is longer on the Panny as well and lumens is rated higher.


I would also guess that the NEC does not support as many resolutions as the Panny.


So if they go for the same price i for myself can not see why you should get "older" technology.

in comprison with this two models, I woluld recommend the LC75E;

fgis unit will be one of the latest models of Panasonic. The quality on the picture is IMO better than given by the VT 540: Also the other specs are sounding better than then by the VT 540, one yera before the VT540 has its high


here in Europe the VT 540 will be end of life
