Reliability. The mechanism in the electric screen undergoes far less stress than in a pull down (spring loaded roll-up). The screen may also get stretched over time because you have to pull on it to roll-down the screen. OTOH the electric screen is more expensive and Stewart's customer service and warranty is the best in the business so if you ever have a problem they're very helpful. You might be interested to know that the pull down mechanism is actually *more* expensive than the electric motor, but obviously they can't sell a pull down for more than an electric (I doubt they make much money at all, they actually probably lose money after warranty service)! If you don't, you might consider a fixed screen, you save money, even over a pull-down. Alternatively, you could just buy the fabric raw and attach it to a roll so you can manually roll it up and down. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif (this is seriously an option if the other two don't cut it, I've been told that, proportionally, they get the most number of warranty calls for manual pull downs)
